Hello friends! I know it has been pretty quiet over here on my little slice of the internet lately but that is changing pretty soon! I will be catching up on nearly 9 months worth of blogs! HOLY COW right??
I met Justin and Samantha via a publication that they saw my work in this time last year in Dade City, Florida. We initially met over Skype and the goal was to discuss their wedding photography needs. We did that, but, we also connected on a personal level and I love that I now can claim these two as not only clients but dear friends of mine.
I feel like this post should begin with a drum-roll, so, just do me a favor and do a little drum-roll on your keyboard before you keep reading... (*insert wink emoji here)
I have already shared a little bit about my heart and planning experience regarding this workshop but now it's time to actually dig deep into the day itself. It's also a chance for me to brag shamelessly on my incredible attendees and vendors who were absolutely amazing.

I walked into the Lee House in Downtown Pensacola with my second shooter and gear in hand and expected to find a house full of hustle and bustle. When we entered we were greeted by the sweetest staff and directed to a room upstairs where we would find Bailey with her mom and bridesmaids JAMMING out to an early 2000's station on Pandora and getting their hair and make up done. When Devon proposed to Haley, they had already been dating for quite a few years and knew that they wanted to do something different from the norm. They decided to book a cruise with some of their closest family and friends and say “I Do” while touring the Caribbean! More importantly though, we discussed the wedding and her relationship with Nick. ...
I need to start this by telling you how excited I am to finally being able to catch up with work and share this blog. I absolutely adore these photos and this couple and I know that you all will too!
A while back, in April to be exact, I had the insane pleasure of putting together a styled bridal shoot and a re-envisioned wedding shoot with some good friends, family, and a team of phenomenal vendors at one of my favorite venues to date- The Lange Farms. Those shoots were both picked up for publications by some of the best publishers in our local area (in fact- the wedding couple's images still haven't been blogged here because they are currently being prepared for publication by Gulf Coast Bride and Southern Bride!) and because of those publications, Samantha saw my work and fell in love with it.... I partnered up with some members of the Tampa Tuesday’s Together group a couple of months ago with a vision to put together an incredible romantic European-inspired shoot for when I would be traveling in the area. Our vision was to do something that had a fresh approach to a classic and soft theme...
