I met Justin and Samantha via a publication that they saw my work in this time last year in Dade City, Florida. We initially met over Skype and the goal was to discuss their wedding photography needs. We did that, but, we also connected on a personal level and I love that I now can claim these two as not only clients but dear friends of mine.
I need to start this by telling you how excited I am to finally being able to catch up with work and share this blog. I absolutely adore these photos and this couple and I know that you all will too!
A while back, in April to be exact, I had the insane pleasure of putting together a styled bridal shoot and a re-envisioned wedding shoot with some good friends, family, and a team of phenomenal vendors at one of my favorite venues to date- The Lange Farms. Those shoots were both picked up for publications by some of the best publishers in our local area (in fact- the wedding couple's images still haven't been blogged here because they are currently being prepared for publication by Gulf Coast Bride and Southern Bride!) and because of those publications, Samantha saw my work and fell in love with it.... I can't believe that it has already been an entire week since I was prepping for this incredible dream shoot at Walt Disney World's Magic Kingdom! I mean, what better place on Earth to celebrate your love for one another than the most magical place on Earth?!
Bethany + Tommy have been coming to Disney together since pretty much their third date and he even pushed her around after she broke BOTH feet last year! They had talked about their hopes and dreams and even discussed how they saw their engagement and marriage and when it came time for Tommy to pop the question...
I had the joy of getting to work with Katelyn and Joey a few weeks ago. Katelyn contacted me soon after they had gotten engaged asking about me photographing their wedding. That hardly seems out of the norm, except that Katelyn and I met when we were very young through a mutual friend. It's been years since we have seen or even gotten to speak to each other. So for me, it was such an honor that she had kept up with my photography and chosen me to be the one to capture their special day.
As I sit here trying to decide what to write about this couple, family, photosession... I am simply at a loss for words. The two of these people have been a part of my life from the beginning-well at least Aaron was and Tiffany came along shortly after. They have seen the good and the bad in my life. They have shared heartbreaks and excitement with me.
